STD Engage Conference Overview + FAQ

What is STD Engage?

The STD Engage conference is the NCSD’s Annual Meeting that brings together state and local STD prevention and sexual health professionals, and their community-based partners and allies. The conference was created in an effort to further the mission of advancing effective STD prevention programs and services in every community across the country. 

When is the 2020 STD Engage Conference?

STD Engage will be held December 1 - 4, 2020.

Will STD Engage be virtual this year?

As of July 10, 2020, the conference will be held in person at the Sheraton New Orleans at 500 Canal St., New Orleans, LA 70130. 

Can I still register for STD Engage 2020?

Yes, registration is set at a tiered level based on the date registered and the type of event attendee (Student, One Day, or Attendee). Early Bird registration or discounted registration ends on July 31, so don’t miss out! Click here to register for STD Engage. 

Can I still submit at abstract for STD Engage?

For 2020, abstracts must be submitted by July 1, 2020. Acceptable abstracts of your research, innovations, ideas, program best practices and more can be submitted to be shared with the STD community. To learn more about the submission standards and process, click here

Does STD Engage offer scholarships?

NCSD and NACCHO do offer annual scholarships to attend STD Engage. The 2020 deadline has now passed. The deadline for the 2020 conference was Friday, July 10 at 11:59 p.m.
